Returns & Refunds FAQ

Returns and Refunds:

  • An order may be cancelled and refunded up until the moment it ships
  • I do not do returns or refunds while an order is being shipped
  • I do not do refunds for stolen mail/packages 
  • If your order has been lost in transit - sitting in one location for 16+ business days - please contact me for a replacement
  • International orders being shipped outside North America are not eligible for refunds or returns once shipped
  • I do make exceptions for refunds/replacements on orders that have arrived broken - please take photos of the issue immediately and send me an email with the pictures for a refund or replacement
  • Products can be sent back in their original condition and packaging for a refund or replacement within 5 days of delivery (Canada & USA only)

 

How To Return for a Refund:

If you receive your item but it does not work out, no problem! Your order can be returned for a refund or replacement within 5 days of being delivered*. Items must be unaltered and preferably in their original packaging for a full refund or replacement. *Returns are available for North American customers only.

  1. Send an email to chaoticcraftsco@gmail.com indicating what products you would like to return and why
  2. Once confirmed pay the $12.50 CAD shipping label fee via paypal, e-transfer, or private listing
  3. Receive the return label via email 
  4. Ship out the package
  5. Once the package has been received you will be fully refunded for the product(s) returned in good condition
  6. Only product cost(s) will be refunded - postage will not be refunded. If products received are not in their original condition (damaged) you will receive a refund of 50% of the product cost

 

Order Tracking:

All shipments are sent via ChitChats and then handed off to a local postal carrier after passing through customs. Once your order has shipped you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. For the most up to date information on tracking please input your tracking number into ChitChats or your countries tracking page:

Shipping Issues:

If you experience any issues with your shipment please contact your local post office immediately via call or in-person visitOnce shipped only the post office will be able to intercept, help retrieve a package, or provide you information on it's whereabouts.

Packages Held by the Post Office: Packages can be held at the post office for two weeks only! After 2 weeks have passed, post offices will dispose of your package. Packages disposed of by postal services will not be refunded or replaced.

Marked as 'Delivered': Orders marked as delivered are not eligible for a refund or replacement. If your order was marked as delivered but has not arrived please contact your local post office immediately. If the postal service mishandled your package which resulted in this please get this information in writing via an email or a signed letter from the postal service. If this occurs please contact me with the email or signed letter to get started on a replacement. 

Lost in Transit: A package is considered lost in transit when there has been no movement for 16+ business days. If your package has sat for over 14 business days please contact me for a replacement.

Incorrect Address: Always make sure to triple check your address before placing your order. If an order is shipped out with an incorrect address contact your local post office immediately and ask for your package to be held at the post office. Or check your tracking page for for a re-routed or held at post office delivery option. Once an order has shipped there are no refunds or returns for incorrect delivery addresses.

Post Office Delivered to Wrong Address: If the postal service mishandled your package and delivered to a different address than the delivery address provided please get this information in writing ASAP via an email or a signed letter from the postal service. Please email me with this letter or email to get started on a replacement.
